Shipping & delivery terms

Fru Krogh uses PostNord as its shipping company. For delivery to Danish addresses, we have a fixed price for shipping to a parcel box of DKK 35. Delivery to a home address costs DKK 45, - regardless of the weight and size of the item. For purchases over DKK 250, - Mrs. Krogh pays the freight for delivery to a Danish parcel box.

We are happy to ship to Norway, Sweden, Germany, Greenland & France. Shipping to these countries will be charged according to PostNord's current rates. PostNord's tariffs applicable at any time. 

Your order will normally be shipped from the store within two business days. In some cases, you can expect a slightly longer delivery time as the package is shipped from Bornholm.

If your package is damaged or missing items upon receipt, please contact us as soon as possible either by email merete@frukrogh.dk or by phone +45 4248 5358.

Right of withdrawal & returns

At Fru Krogh, we are well aware that ordering online is not the same as standing in the store where you can see and touch the yarn. That's why you have a 14-day right of withdrawal, starting from the day you receive your package.

If you want to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must contact us before the 14 days have passed either by email merete@frukrogh.dk or by phone 4248 5358and state that you wish to return the item. We would love to hear the reason in case there is something we can improve or if the product does not live up to your expectations.

If you want to return the item, we recommend that you send it as a package so that it is insured along the way and you have documentation for the shipment. You are responsible for the package until it is in our hands. Please note that you will have to pay for the postage to return your items.

To facilitate our work, please include information about your order number in the package. Please note that we do not accept cash on delivery or parcels without delivery.

Once we have received the package and ensured the condition of the item, we will return your money to the account used for payment.

Should we assess that the condition of the item is deteriorated or damaged (e.g. smell of smoke), we reserve the right to value the item and refund an amount corresponding to the loss of value.

Please note that the right of return is void when purchasing yarn that has been won for skeins.

Complaints

You have a 2-year warranty on your goods purchased from Fru Krogh in accordance with Danish law. If you have been unfortunate enough to receive a faulty product, please contact us as soon as possible either by email: merete@frukrogh.dk or by phone: 4248 5358. We will then assess whether the defect can be rectified, exchanged or a reduction in price.

Normal wear and tear or incorrect use/treatment of the item, such as incorrect washing treatment, cannot be complained about.

I make every effort to prevent color bleeding, but there is a risk of color bleeding when mixing qualities and colors. This is not something that can be advertised. Before knitting with multiple colors and possibly multiple qualities, I always recommend that you make a small swatch and wash it. If the color is fine, you've ensured that you won't experience smearing on the finished result. Washing in cold water and adding a teaspoon of vinegar to the water will help prevent color bleeding.

When shopping at Fru Krogh, the following personal information must be provided:

This information, as well as which items you have purchased, is stored for up to 5 years. This data will only be used internally and will NEVER be passed on to third parties.

In addition to the personal information you provide us with in connection with your purchase, we use cookies on Frukrogh.dk to optimize the webshop and its functionality. Cookies also help you to have the best possible experience when you visit our webshop.
