Fru Krogh's Merino blend is an exclusive yarn spun from lustrous silk and fine long merino fibers. The merino is mulesing free and from Peru.
In this beautiful chunky version you can knit thick patterns where the stitch definition is very clear. Knit it alone or add a strand of Mohair blend for a fluffy & furry look.
Merino has a natural elasticity that helps the knit retain its shape, while being warm and incredibly soft to the touch. The silk gives a smooth yarn with a fine sheen. It makes the yarn feel comfortable and luxurious to knit with. The stitches are clearly visible in the finished knit, so patterns are nice and crisp.
The yarn can be knitted as a single strand from needles 4.00 - 6.50 depending on the look and lightness you want. You can also knit with double yarn or choose to join it together, for example with a strand of silk mohair.
