Fru Krogh's Merino blend is an exclusive yarn spun from lustrous silk and fine long merino fibers. The merino is mulesing free and from Peru.
Merino has a natural elasticity that helps the knitwear retain its shape while being warm and incredibly soft to the touch. The silk gives a smooth yarn with a fine sheen and makes the yarn feel comfortable and luxurious to knit with. The stitches are clearly visible in the finished knit, so patterns are nice and crisp.
The yarn can be knitted as a single strand on anything from needles 2.00 - 3.50 depending on the look and lightness you want. You can also knit with double yarn or choose to join it with a strand of silk mohair.
