Mrs. Krogh's Cashmere lace blend is an exclusive yarn spun from a fine silk thread with alpaca and cashmere fibers.

The yarn is woven with two strands and despite its fineness, the yarn has a really nice body and is incredibly soft. It is perfect for lace knitting up to needle size 3.5, but can also be knitted alone or for soft light tops that can be worn close to the body.

More information

Fru Krogh’s cashmere lace blend is an exclusive hand-dyed yarn, spun from 70% baby alpaca, 20% silk, and 10% cashmere. It’s a luxurious blend that gives your knits unmatched softness, sheen, and lightness. This cashmere lace blend yarn is perfect for light shawls, lacework, and delicate knitting projects. You’ll get a beautiful and soft result every time.

This yarn can be knitted as a single strand using needles sizes 2.00–3.50, depending on the look and lightness you want. You can also knit with double strands, or you can combine it with, for example, a strand of silk mohair. This adds even more volume and sheen. The yarn has a generous yardage of 800 meters per 100 grams, making it ideal for large projects such as shawls and shawl collars.

Hand-dyed with soul

Every skein of cashmere lace blend is unique—hand-dyed with love and care. This means there may be slight variations in shade from skein to skein. This simply makes your knitting project even more personal and vibrant. The colors are inspired by nature and the seasons, and the yarn is available in a wide selection of beautiful, deep, and vibrant hues.

Please note that the color in the photo may differ slightly from the actual color, as it depends on your screen’s color calibration. I always take three photos of each color, preferably outdoors in daylight. This is the best way to see the yarn’s true color.
