The yarn is made in Peru, and using this yarn allows me to better track the process from animal to knitwear. I hope you appreciate this as much as I do.
Mrs. Krogh's Mohair blend is a fine and soft fuzzy lace yarn. It is perfect for lightweight shawls and blouses or as a companion yarn for thicker knits that need an extra soft touch.
The yarn can be knitted as a single strand on needles sizes 2.00–4.00, depending on the look and lightness you want.
If you knit it with multiple strands or use it as an accent yarn with another yarn, you can, of course, knit it with much thicker needles.

With a yardage of 420 m per 50 g, this is an incredibly lightweight yarn. It’s perfect for delicate shawls and blouses. It can also be used as an accent yarn for thicker knits that need just a touch of extra softness.

The same applies if you use it as a companion yarn with another type of yarn. No matter which method you use, the result is completely unique, airy, and soft.
I'd be happy to remove the yarn tags for you before I ship the package. Just please note that this will void your right to return the item. The delivery time will also be extended by one business day.
Mrs. Krogh's mohair blend is Oeko-Tex certified —the world's leading health certification for textiles. This means you can be confident about the yarn's fibers. They do not contain any substances that could be harmful to your body.
In addition, the yarn is RMS-certified. RMS is a voluntary program similar to Fairtrade. The program ensures that you, as a consumer, can be confident that responsibility has been built into every stage of the process.
This applies to everything from how the animals are treated to the wages paid to employees. It ensures that you can knit with a clear conscience.
Mohair Blend is a classic lace yarn primarily used for shawls and light blouses—but the possibilities are endless. Try combining it with a thinner yarn, such as our Cashmere Lace Blend or Camel Blend—Lace. That way, you can create truly unique textures.
If you use it as a companion yarn for a thicker yarn, such as our Merino Blend – Classic, it adds a soft touch. The result is also a light and airy knit. Find plenty of patterns and inspiration on Ravelry.
I take great care to take photos that accurately capture the true color. Please note, however, that the color in the photo may differ slightly from the actual item. Screen color calibration can cause slight variations in color from one screen to another.
I always take 3 photos of each color, and the close-up is always taken outdoors in daylight. You can view my entire yarn collection here if you're looking for inspiration for upcoming projects.
