Pure Silk

Silk can be knitted as a single strand from needles 2.00 - 4.00 depending on the look and lightness you want. You can knit it double or choose to join it with one strand of silk mohair. If you knit it together with mohair, you will be able to achieve a gauge of 21-23 stitches per 10 cm. This will allow you to knit airy, beautiful sweaters on slightly larger needles. The combination of silk and silk mohair gives a truly luxurious look with a bit more weight but still with air and fullness.

Silk feels comfortable against the skin in all seasons and, like wool, has both heat-regulating and insulating properties. It can therefore be worn all year round.

Please note that the color of the image may differ slightly from reality as it depends on the color calibration of the monitor. Thus, there may also be differences in hue from monitor to monitor. I always take at least 2 images of each color. As far as possible, the images are taken outdoors in daylight, however, there may be an image that shows several colors taken indoors in artificial light. This way I hope to show you the true color of the yarn in the best possible way.
