Maybe the ultimate bathrobe?
Made from 100% cotton and so wide that body sizes from size S - XL can comfortably fit under it. S - XL can comfortably dress under it.
The robe is sewn locally on Bornholm by the designer who lives on the island
The full width of the fabric roll is used to provide as comfortable and spacious a robe as possible (robe width approx. 85 cm)
The pockets are so deep that nothing falls out even if you bend over completely. (approx. 25 cm from insertion to bottom)
The length of the robe varies slightly. If there is some fabric left over, it is added to the individual. But the ones I have in the store right now measure approx. 125 cm. from the neck down.
The robes are sewn in pure thick terry, which is often used to make fluffy bath towels. The robes are not washed before sale, but once yours is washed it will wick effectively, so you can either stay warm under the robe or quickly change into other clothes.
Surfers use the coats in addition to their wetsuits when they get out of the water and gather their gear. So they have a comfortable extra layer of insulation before they change.
Winter swimmers use them to warm up after cold dips, so they're dry and "slightly" warmer before getting dressed.
Beachgoers in the summer use the robes as ordinary bathrobes for changing and cozying up on the beach and, not least, for private changing free from prying eyes. The large hood is also great for shading from the sun when you're out in the midday sun.
However, I also hear about coats that never seem to get wet. I've been told that they are pretty amazing as pure cozy clothing in the house and garden. I can now see myself cuddling around hanging laundry or drinking coffee in the garden wearing an Asta robe 🌸
