This yarn construction is a little different from my other qualities - it consists of a knitted cotton inner core with the softest baby alpaca. A so-called blow yarn. It gives an incredibly soft and airy knit with a slight "halo", but without too much fluff. What you knit with this soft yarn is amazing - almost like a wool spun texture, but still with the softness and warmth of the alpaca. The colors I can dye in this quality will always have the light yarn in the depth, which gives a beautiful mottling as the cotton is less susceptible to color.

Spinderiet recommends knitting the yarn on needles 5.00 - 7.00, but for the first yarn I actually disagree.
I think the yarn gives a dense and beautiful stitch pattern when knitting on needles 3.50 - 5.00 on larger needles than that, in stockinette stitch, it gives a very open stitch pattern. If you knit on needles larger than 5.00 needles, I recommend using a follower yarn or knitting textured knit.
I've knitted a few swatches to give you an indication of how many stitches you will have on 10 cm in width. Remember that this is how I personally knit and that you will always have to adjust depending on whether you knit tight or loose. I might knit a bit on the loose side when compared to the spinning wheel.
Row 3.50 - I get 18.5 stitches in 10 cm width after washing, but the spinning mill says they get 21 stitches!
Row 4.00 - I get 17 stitches in 10 cm width after washing
Row 5.00 - I get 15.5 stitches 10 cm wide after washing
Row 6.00 - I get 13.5 stitches 10 cm wide after washing
Row 7.00 - I get 12.5 stitches 10 cm wide after washing
