Kinki Amibari's Koshitsu knitting needles undergo a high-pressure treatment at high temperatures, after which they are carefully polished with natural plant wax. This not only makes the knitting needles very durable, but also protects them from external influences. In addition, it prevents the needles from warping over time. It also makes the surface of the needles even and smooth. The cables are very flexible and thanks to the seamless swivel connection with the pin tips, twists, kinks and pinching are now a thing of the past!

General information applicable to all Shirotake and Koshitsu sticks and stick sets
Both the Shirotake and Koshitsu sticks are made of bamboo, but the finish is different. The surface of the Shirotake series has a smooth finish with natural plant wax, which gives the sticks a beautiful shine. They also feel wonderful to the touch. On the other hand, the sticks in the Koshitsu series undergo a high-pressure and heat treatment.
The surface is then smoothed with natural plant wax. This special treatment ensures that the sticks are extra strong and durable and protects them from harmful external influences. It also prevents the wood from warping. The result is a comfortable and smooth knitting experience with needles that feel wonderfully warm to the touch.
