In the Dualis set you will find two different sets of interchangeable knitting needles:
a set with 5 cm tips and a set with 10 cm tips. The needles have the same thickness in both lengths, so you can change the length as needed.
The kit is ideal for knitting small projects like socks, gloves and baby items. With the included cables and needle stoppers, you can also use the needle tips as straight needles or extend the cables with the cable connector.
The kit includes the following:
5 pairs of 5cm interchangeable stick tips in sizes 2.25, 2.50, 2.75, 3.00 and 3.25 mm
5 pairs of interchangeable 10 cm tips in sizes 2.25, 2.50, 2.75, 3.00 and 3.25 mm
4 cables: 1 x 13 cm, 1 x 20 cm, 1 x 40 cm and 1 x 60 cm; total length depends on stick tips used (5 cm or 10 cm)
1 x cable connector
2 x pin stoppers
The set comes in a fabric bag with a dark blue background with a graphic print.

Like all Seeknit kits, the set is a versatile set with wires and sticks as well as stoppers and connectors that allow for great variation.
The Japanese company has developed a production process that enhances the natural properties of bamboo. After the knitting needles have undergone a high-pressure, high-temperature treatment, they are carefully polished with natural plant wax. This not only protects the knitting needles from external influences - such as twisting - but also makes them extra durable and wonderfully smooth. The yarn glides easily over the needles, making knitting with them a pleasure!
Note: When assembling the interchangeable circular needles, the length of the cable must be at least as long as both needle tips combined! Always combine Seeknit interchangeable circular needles and crochet hooks with cables, connectors and stoppers with the same screw size:
Screw size M1.8 for stud sizes 2.00-3.25 mm
Screw size M2 for stick sizes 3.50-5.00 mm
Screw size M4 for stud tips in sizes 5.50-10.00 mm
Parts with the same screw size can be connected directly to each other. Do you have two different screw sizes? Then they can still be combined using an adapter.
General information about Shirotake and Koshitsu sticks and stick sets
Both the Shirotake and Koshitsu sticks are made from bamboo, but the surface treatment is different. The surface of the Shirotake series has a smooth finish with natural plant wax, which gives the sticks a beautiful shine and a pleasant feel. The Koshitsu series, on the other hand, undergoes a high-pressure and heat treatment, after which the surface is smoothed with natural plant wax. This special treatment makes the sticks extra strong and durable and protects them from harmful external influences. It also prevents the wood from warping. The result is a comfortable and smooth knitting experience with needles that feel pleasantly warm to the touch.
